Vlatko Andonovski (born September 14, 1976) is a Macedonian-American soccer manager and currently managing FC Kansas City in the National Women's Soccer League and the Kansas City Comets in the Major Arena Soccer League, both in the United States.
Playing career
Vlatko played six seasons for multiple clubs in Europe, such as FK Rabotnički, Makedonija GP and FK Vardar, competing in the First Macedonian Football League, European Cup and Intertoto Cup.[1][2]
In 2000, he signed with the Wichita Wings of the National Professional Soccer League and later played for the Kansas City Comets, California Cougars and Philadelphia Kixx of the Major Indoor Soccer League in his indoor career.[1]
Managerial career
Andonovski has been involved with many youth teams and clubs in the Kansas City area.[1]
On December 5, 2012, he signed contract to become the manager of FC Kansas City.[1]
He was hired as Head Coach of Kansas City Comets on August 29, 2013 after being an assistant under Kim Røntved for three seasons.[3][4][5] On February 8, 2015, he and Wichita coach Kim Røntved came out of retirement to play against each other for their respective teams for one game.
Andonovski holds a USSF ‘A’ License and a NCSAA Goalkeeping Diploma.[1]

Honours
During his time playing for the Kansas City Comets, Andonovski was named the Most Improved Player of the Year in 2002, Defender of the Year in 2002 and Most Valuable Player of the Year in 2005. He was also a 2-time MISL All Star.[6]
During his managerial career, he has won four Missouri State Championships and a youth National Championship.[1]
He was named NWSL Coach of the Year in 2013. After starting the season with a 5–4–1 record through the first 10 games, Andonovski and FC Kansas City went unbeaten in their next 10 games to set the NWSL record for most games without a loss.[7]
Personal life
Andonovski resides in Kansas City, Missouri, with his wife and children, Dragana, Luka,and Daria.[6]
