The FH Vorarlberg (Vorarlberg University of Applied Sciences) in Dornbirn, Austria is a leading Austrian University of applied sciences (see Awards). Its charter is to provide degree programmes with a direct link to work practice. 1,200 students are currently enrolled in bachelor’s and master’s degrees in the areas of business, engineering, design and the social sciences. FH Vorarlberg enjoys excellent relations with business and industry in Vorarlberg. Many of the companies are world leaders or among world leaders in their areas. Close cooperation with these top companies means that students can choose from a range of internships and graduates have excellent job prospects. The number of research contracts from business and industry is proof of FH Vorarlberg’s strong links to high-tech companies. One example: in January 2014, a Ressel Centre for microtechnology will be inaugurated at FH Vorarlberg.
Awards
FH Vorarlberg is the recipient of numerous awards for its internationalization work and the high quality of its student mobility activities. Among these awards are the ECTS Label, the Diploma Supplement Label and the E-Quality Label (awarded numerous times) as well as the Lifelong Learning Award (awarded numerous times).

- Bachelor´s degree Social Work (full-time and part-time for seven semesters)
- Bachelor´s degree Electrical Engineering Dual (*subject to accreditation by the Agency for Quality Assurance and Accreditation Austria)
Admission Requirements: higher education entrance qualification or equivalent Application Deadline and Fees: 15 May, no university fees, Austrian National Union of Students fee EUR 18 per semester

- Master´s Degree Business (part-time): Business Process Management; Accounting, Controlling & Finance; International Marketing & Sales
- Master´s Degree Mechatronics
- Master´s Degree Energy Technology and Energy Economics (part-time)

- Master´s Degree in Social Work (part-time) with the focus: intercultural social work or clinical social work
