Sri Nimbarkacharya
There are different interpretations of Brahma Sutra commonly known as Vedanta. This interpretation is nothing but the different ways of reaching the Brahman (the Supreme) and the relationship between Jiva-Jagat and Paramatman (Brahman). It is mentioned in the Puranas that Parabrahman (the Supreme Being) appeared before Sanakadi Chatusan (four sons of Brahma) and taught them about Moksha and the Yoga of achieving it.
This knowledge is descended to Devarshi Narada by four saints and Devarshi Narada initiated Sri Nimarkacharya (the human incarnation of Sudarshan Charka-the holy disk situated in the hand of Vishnu) handed this Paravidya (Supreme Knowledge) to him. The Vaishnava Sampradaya that has come down through a continuous line, descent from Sri Nimbarka Bhagavan (through an uninterrupted succession of disciples) has become known as the Nimbarka ''Sampradaya''. In the Puranas this Sampradaya is also known as Hamsa Sampradaya or San Sampradaya.
