WBMZ (103.7 FM) is a radio station broadcasting a classic hits format. Between Fall 2011 and Spring 2013 and again since Fall 2014, WBMZ serves as the official flagship radio station for Georgia Southern Eagles athletics, broadcasting football, men and women's basketball and baseball games along with weekly coaches' shows.[1]

Licensed to Metter, Georgia, USA, the station serves the Metter, Statesboro, and Swainsboro areas. The station is currently owned by Dennis Jones, through licensee RadioJones, LLC, and features programing from ABC Radio and Westwood One.[2]

History

The station went on the air as WQKK on 1985-07-04. on 1988-05-02, the station changed its call sign to WHCG, on 1998-06-12 to WHCG-FM, on 1998-07-13 to the current WBMZ,[3]

WBMZ is hosted locally by Trey Dixon in the mornings and by station program director Steve Lawson in the afternoons
