Wadenoijen is a village in the Dutch province of Gelderland. It is a part of the municipality of Tiel, and lies about 4 km west of Tiel.

In 2001, the village of Wadenoijen had 411 inhabitants. The built-up area of the village was 0.078 km², and contained 163 residences.[1] The statistical area "Wadenoijen", which also can include the peripheral parts of the village, as well as the surrounding countryside, has a population of around 1150.[2]

Standing at the edge of the village, near the Linge river, is the village church, a building with a Romanesque tower and nave and a Gothic choir.

Wadenoijen was a separate municipality between 1818 and 1956, when the area was divided between the municipalities of Tiel and Zoelen.[3]
