Walter Lawrence Reed (December 4, 1877 – May 1, 1956) was a Major General in the United States Army who served as Inspector General of the Army from December 1, 1935 to December 23, 1939.[1]
His father was Army Medical Corps officer Major Walter Reed, namesake of the Walter Reed Army Medical Center.

Major General Reed died in the Walter Reed Army Medical Center[2] and is buried in Arlington National Cemetery, Section 3 Plot 1863-B.[3]
