West Virginia Daily News

The West Virginia Daily News is a newspaper in Lewisburg, West Virginia. The newspaper traces its roots to several weekly newspapers, including the West Virginia News, the Greenbrier Independent, the White Sulphur Springs Star, and the Star-Independent. The current newspaper was launched on January 1, 1967.

Despite the "daily" name, it actually publishes Monday–Friday. Generally, the newspaper covers local events only, and the Charleston, Beckley and Roanoke papers circulate widely in the market with more broad coverage.
