Wilhelm von Apell (16 January 1892 – 7 March 1969) was a German general in the Wehrmacht during the World War II who commanded the 22nd Panzer Division. He was a recipient of the Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross, which was awarded to recognise extreme battlefield bravery or successful military leadership.
