William Loika (January 1, 1922 – July 31, 1986) was the sixth head college football coach for the Central Connecticut State University Blue Devils located in New Britain, Connecticut and he held that position for eighteen seasons, from 1964 until 1981. His coaching record at Central Connecticut was 94 wins, 72 losses, and 3 ties. As of the conclusion of the 2007 season, this ranks him first at Central Connecticut in total wins and fourth at Central Connecticut in winning percentage (.565).[1] He died of cancer in 1986.[2]
