William Matheus da Silva, or simply William Matheus (born 2 April 1990), is a Brazilian footballer who plays as left back and centre back. He currently plays for Fluminense, on loan from Toulouse.
He played 22 Campeonato Brasileiro Série A games in 2008 season.[1]
William Matheus then left for Botafogo (DF) and Tombense. In June 2011 he signed a 3-year contract with Boca Júnior (SE) and loaned to Bahia in the same month. He played in 2011 Copa Governador do Estado da Bahia.[2] He was the member of Bahia under-23 team that season.
On February 2, William Matheus signed with Palmeiras to play the 2014 season, the year of the centenary of the club.
