William Rickart Hepburn
Colonel William Rickart Hepburn (died 1807) was a Scottish noble and politician who lived in Kincardineshire, Scotland.[1] He was the son of Lieutenant-Colonel Robert Rickart Hepburn MP and Magdalene Murray. He was responsible for the construction of the historic Rickarton House west of Stonehaven at the eastern edge of Fetteresso Forest. He married Janet Paul of Rathlodge, Fetteresso and died in London, leaving issue two sons and a daughter. His great-great-grandsons were Canadian politicians, Brigadier-General Bernard Rickart Hepburn and James de Congalton Hepburn.
