Willie "Pdub" Moore Jr.

Willie "P-Dub" Moore Jr. is an actor, comedian, producer, speaker, radio host, Christian R&B artist and licensed minister from St. Louis, Missouri.[1][2] Moore has also been known to work with Christian rap artist Bizzle. His collaboration with Bizzle on their Best of Both Worlds: The Album peaked at 42 on the Billboard Top Christian Albums chart, 27 on the Billboard Top Gospel Albums chart and 25 on the Billboard Heatseekers Albums chart.[3][4]

Career

Growing up in St. Louis, Missouri, Willie Moore, Jr. was known for his great choir singing voice.[5] His style, being original and fresh,garnered Moore attention from several national record labels.[6] At 12 years old, Moore signed with Midwest recording label, gaining regional fame with the group "Baby Gangstas". After receiving his college degree at the University of Mississippi-Oxford, Moore started his music career by signing with Universal Music Group as a hip hop artist where he had hits such as Roll With Me from the album, "Enter The Life of Suella".[5] After his deal was finished with Universal, Willie went on to be a successful independent artist with hits "4 Walls", "Lay Your Body Down" and "Designer Love". After being contacted by Warner Bros. Records in Los Angeles, Moore decided to pursue a career as an R&B singer with the single "Good Thang", an homage to women.[7]

Moore currently hosts the radio show "The Willie Moore Jr. Show" weekdays from 3pm-7pm for Radio One & Atlanta's Praise 102.5.
