Xi Zhicai was an early advisor to the warlord Cao Cao during the end of the Han dynasty period of Chinese history. He was introduced to join Cao's service through the recommendation of Xun Yu.[1] Xi Zhicai was an important advisor under Cao Cao, however, he died very young.[2] Xun Yu then recommended Xi Zhicai to be replaced by another very brilliant strategist, Guo Jia.[3]
