ZVL Leiden[1] is a waterpolo club in Leiden and was established for girls and women. The Club was founded in 2004 by three local clubs. The name was constituted by the first letters of these clubs, being De Zijl-LGB, Vivax en LZ 1886. ZVL was founded with the intention to give women in Leiden a change to play waterpolo at the highest level. De crest colors are red and blue.
