Zalak Desai (born Jhalak Desai; 18 March 1993), is an Indian television actress.[1][2] She worked in serials like Muh Boli Shaadi, Sajan Ghar Jaana Hai.[3][4]

Career

Zalak is daughter of Gujarati actress Falguni Desai. She was born and brought up in Mumbai.[5] Zalak started her career at the age of 16 in serial Sajan Ghar Jaana Hai in 2009, just after she completed her 10th standard with 90 percentage aggregate from R.N.Shah High School,Mumbai.[6][7] She took a break to complete her 12th and graduation in B.Sc Biotechnology from Mithibai College(University of Mumbai) and returned in the Sony TV serial Dil Deke Dekho in 2014. Later,she worked in serial Muh Boli Shaadi.[8]

Social work

Zalak has been involved in various social activities. Once she helped a fractured engineering student from Sardar Patel College of Engineering[9] to complete his examination by writing his exams.

Zalak got Star Parivaar Awards in 2010 in Favourite Devrani category.
