Zeina Khodr

Zeina Khodr is an international news correspondent for the Al Jazeera International News Channel. Khodr came to international prominence as an on-the-ground reporter in Syria reporting from within hostile territories, sometimes having to shout over gunfire, while dressed in a flak jacket and military helmet for protection.[1] Khodr has worked in national and international news for over 15 years, having been associated with various new outlets, such as; Al Jazeera's online and Arabic-language services, Munhwa Broadcasting Corporation (MBC), Emirates Dubai Television, the BBC World Service, and CNN. [2] In December 2011, Khodr received the Sky Women In TV and Film award in the category "The ITV Achievement Of The Year Award" for her Fall of Tripoli news coverage. [3] In 2013, Khodr was nominated for the prestigious [Jury] News award at the Monte-Carlo Television Festival [4]
