2014–15 Santo Antão Island League (South)
The 2014-15 Santo Antão Island League (South) season was the competition of the second-tier football in southern (and the western) part the island of Santo Antão, Cape Verde. Its started on 10 January 2013 and finished on 19 April 2014. The tournament was organized by the Santo Antão North Regional Football Association (Associação Regional de Futebol de Zona Sul do Santo Antão, ARFZSSA).[2] Académica do Porto Novo won the 9th title and their 10th overall and finished with 32 points.
Académica do Porto Novo was again the defending team of the title. A total of 7 clubs participated in the competition, 2 did not participated and werer Fiorentina and Santo André. A total of 136 goals were scored in the season, 25 more than last season. Académica lead the season for the first eleven weeks, Marítimo held it for two weeks, in the last week, Académica defeated Marítimo in the final match of the season and became regional champion and was ranked ahead by two points over Marítimo.
The match dates were set on November 8, 2014.[3]
