Al-Namas (Arabic: النماص) is a governorate in 'Asir Province,[2] Saudi Arabia about 120 kilometres (75 mi) north of Abha.[3] Al-Namas is a famous hill station located on Sarawat Mountains. Al-Namas is a window to Arab culture and traditions which date back to pre-Islamic period.
Climate
Al-Namas is slightly wetter than Abha, with about 10–30 mm (0.39–1.18 in) higher average monthly rainfall during February to April and about 5–15 mm (0.20–0.59 in) lower monthly rainfall during September and October.[3] Alnmas is too cold in winter . And in sammar not so hot like anthor city in saudi .
Alnamas is very cold in weather and has multi-climates fog

Education
Al-Namas The University of Bisha has a Community College and College of Arts and Sciences for male students[4] and a College of Health Sciences for Girls and College Arts & Sciencesfor female students[5] in al-Namas. It also has Technical College for diploma students. Recently, a technical college has opened its doors in Al-Namas where the Saudi students of the Asir region are offered a vocational education. al-namas has Institute for English Language Teachingز
Politics
After student protests over conditions at the Abha campus of King Khalid University on 6 and 7 March 2012[6] and a follow-up sit-in on 10 March calling for the head of the university to resign,[7] protests also occurred in the al-Namas campus of the university.[8]
