Alaa Ali Mhawi (Arabic: علاء مهاوي , born 3 June 1996)[1] is a professional football player and an Olympian who plays for Iraqi club Al-Zawraa and Iraqi national team. He represented his country at the 2016 Summer Olympics.
Club career
Early years
Alaa Mhawi was graduated from the prestigious Ammo Baba Football School, situated opposite the Al-Shaab Stadium, where he spent the early part of his football education. [2]
International career
Alaa was called up for the Iraqi Olympic team following his performance in the Rio 2016 Olympic Games. On 21 August 2016 made his first international cap for Iraq against North Korea in a friendly match.
