Ali Faez Atiyah (Arabic: علي فائز عطية; born 9 September 1994[1] in Baghdad, Iraq) is an Iraqi football defender and an Olympian [2] who plays for Turkish Süper Lig club Çaykur Rizespor and the Iraqi National Team. He has established himself as a 'dead ball' specialist or setpiece taker.[3]

After 2013 FIFA U-20 World Cup, he received an offer from Al-Khor Sports Club in Qatar to play to their team.[4]

On 14 August 2013, Ali played his first international match for Iraq against Chile in a friendly match.[5]

Club Career

Ali Started his Career with Ali Sinaa where he helped them reach a third-place finish in the Iraqi League. He Joined Al Karakh where he eventually helped them come back to the Iraqi Premier League.He then Joined Erbil where he finished second with them, before playing a season with Al Shorta.In July Ali Signed for Turkish Team Çaykur Rizespor.
