Arizona elections, 2018

A general election will be held in the U.S. state of Arizona on November 6, 2018. All of Arizona's executive officers will be up for election as well as a United States Senate seat and all of Arizona's nine seats in the United States House of Representatives.

Governor

Incumbent Republican Governor Doug Ducey is eligible to run for re-election to a second term.

Secretary of State

Incumbent Republican Secretary of State Michele Reagan is eligible to run for re-election to a second term.

Democratic Mayor of Phoenix, Greg Stanton, has created a campaign committee for Secretary of State.[1] The creation of the committee was done in order to allow Stanton to transfer the funds from his mayoral campaign committee before a law prohibiting the use of local office campaign committee funds for legislative or statewide offices went into effect.[1] Stanton has given no indication he is currently considering running for Secretary of State, but could decide to run for that or a different office, such as Governor, Attorney General or Superintendent of Public Instruction.[1][2]

Attorney General

Incumbent Republican Attorney General Mark Brnovich is eligible to run for re-election to a second term.

Treasurer

Incumbent Republican State Treasurer Jeff DeWit announced on April 6, 2016 that he would not run for re-election to a second term as State Treasurer.[3]

Corporation Commissioner Thomas Forese is running for the Republican nomination.[4]

Superintendent of Public Instruction

Incumbent Republican Superintendent of Public Instruction Diane Douglas is eligible to run for re-election to a second term.

Mine Inspector

Incumbent Republican Mine Inspector Joe Hart is eligible to run for re-election to a fourth term.

Corporation Commission

Two of the seats on the Arizona Corporation Commission are up for election. Republican Incumbent Doug Little is eligible to run for re-election to a second term, while Republican Thomas Forese will instead for State Treasurer.[4]

US Senate

Incumbent Republican Jeff Flake is eligible to run for re-election to a second term.

Kelli Ward, former State Senator and candidate for the U.S. Senate in 2016 announced she will challenge Flake for the Republican nomination.[5][6]

House of Representatives

All of Arizona's nine seats in the United States House of Representatives will be up for election in 2018. 2016 Green Party candidate Ray Parrish has announced that he will again be running in the District One race.
