Arthur de Zoysa

Charles Arthur Neville de Soysa was a Ceylonese statesman and businessman. He was elected to the first Parliament of Ceylon in 1947 from Colombo and was re-elected in 1952. Born to Thomas Henry Arthur de Soysa and Regina Perera Abayawardena, he was educated at Royal College, Colombo and was a grandson of Sir Charles Henry de Soysa.^[1] His former home Regina Walauwa became the home to the University College Ceylon.^[2]^[3] The University Sports Ground was gifted by his uncle E. L. F. de Soysa, originally to Royal College, Colombo.^[4]
