Banks & Banking Committee (Georgia House)
The House Banks & Banking Committee is a 27 member legislative body consisting of a chairman, a vice-chairman, a secretary, and 24 members. The Committee operates under a House mandate to evaluate legislation that regulates the state's financial institutions.[1]
Scope and jurisdiction
The House Banks & Banking Committee has jurisdiction over all legislation that impacts financial institutions including real property finance and corporate securities law.[1]
