List of legislative committees of Georgia (U.S. state)
The General Assembly is the state's legislature. It is a bicameral institution, further supplementing the constitutional intent of separated power and shared responsibility. Its business is conducted in two chambers; the Senate and the House of Representatives where 68 seated committees are operated (29 senate committees, 37 house committees, and 2 joint committees).[1][2][3] The following list shows these committees as of 2013:
