Boconó Fault
The Boconó Fault is a complex of geological fault located in the northeastern Colombia and northwestern Venezuela. The fault has a NE-SW orientation and runs across along the axis of Cordillera de Mérida which is part of the Andes. Boconó Fault is a strike-slip fault and has a dextral relative movement.[1]
