Caboolture South is a suburb in Moreton Bay Region, Queensland, Australia.[2] It is 45 kilometres (28 mi) north of Brisbane, the state capital.
The origin of the suburb name is from the Yugarabul Aboriginal language meaning place of carpet snake which is located south of the original Caboolture township.[2]

In the 2011 census, Caboolture South recorded a population of 4,857 people, 51% female and 49% male.
