Charlemagne (pronounced: [ʃaʁ.lə.maŋ]) is an off-island suburb of Montreal, Quebec, Canada. It is located on the north shore of the Rivière des Prairies, 24 kilometres (15 mi) northeast of Montreal's downtown core. As of 2011, the population was 5,853.

It is the birthplace of recording artist Céline Dion,[4] who was the winner of the 1988 Eurovision Song Contest in Dublin, Ireland with her song, "Ne Partez Pas Sans Moi" and whom the town's council named one of its main streets after,[5] doing so without the recognition of the Quebec Commission.[6] Additionally, the town erected a sculpture on Dion's behalf.[6] Charlemagne is also the birthplace of politician Camille Laurin.
