The next Elections to the City of Edinburgh Council will be held on Thursday 5 May 2017, on the same day as the 31 other local authorities in Scotland. It will be the third successive Local Council election to run under the STV Electoral System.
Following the 2012 election a Labour-SNP coalition administration was formed.
