The College of Arts & Sciences of Asia & the Pacific (CASAP) is a private educational institution in the Philippines. It has 4 separate campuses nationwide. CASAP is recognized by the Technical Education & Skills Development Authority (TESDA), the Commission on Higher Education (CHED), and the Department of Education (DepEd).
History
CASAP was founded in 2010 by former Marikina City Mayor Ma. Lourdes C. Fernando, initially offering five 2-year vocational programs. CASAP formally opened its operations on June 13, 2011 adding 8 short-term courses to their programs with three start up campuses; these are: CASAP Pasig Campus, CASAP Taytay, Rizal Campus and CASAP Bacolod Campus. The Rodriguez (formerly Montalban), Rizal Campus was opened in 2015. CASAP Rodriguez offers basic education and tertiary academic programs. On the same year, CASAP Bacolod also expands its operation in Basic Education Programs that caters pre-school (nursery & kindergarten), Grade school and High school students.
Also in 2015, CASAP received its accreditation from the Department of Education (DepEd) to offer senior high school programs on all of its campuses. CASAP also plans to open five more additional campuses in the succeeding years.
