East Leavenworth, Missouri

East Leavenworth is an unincorporated community in Platte County, Missouri. It is located on Route 45 about three miles east of Leavenworth, Kansas. It formerly had a post office, but that has now closed, and mail now comes from Platte City.Leo J. Dowling was appointed by Postmaster General Farley to be the only postmaster of East Leavenworth, MO.
