Egídio de Araújo Pereira Júnior, or simply Egídio (born June 16, 1986 in Rio de Janeiro), is a Brazilian left back. He currently plays for Palmeiras.
Career
Paraná
Egídio had a brief loan spell with Paraná in early 2007 and another loan to Juventude in 2008, this time playing in the Brazilian Série B.
Figueirense
On May 26, 2009 Flamengo loaned Egídio to Figueirense, to play in the Brazilian Série B.[1]
Cruzeiro
Egídio played for Cruzeiro from 2013 to 2014, winning the Brazilian league title twice during this period.
Dnipro
On 6 January 2015 Egídio joined Ukrainian club Dnipro.[2]
