Eliot Albert Cross Druce (20 June 1876 – 24 October 1934) was an English cricketer active from 1897 to 1913, making ten appearances in first-class cricket. Born at Weybridge, Surrey, Druce was a right-handed batsman and right-arm medium pace.
Druce made his debut in first-class cricket for Cambridge University against the Marylebone Cricket Club at Lord's in 1897. He played three further first-class matches for the university during his studies there in 1898.[1] He played one match for the Marylebone Cricket Club against Kent in 1898, before playing twice for Kent in the 1900 County Championship.[1] Over a decade later he made three first-class appearances for the Free Foresters in 1912 and 1913, playing twice against Oxford University and once against Cambridge University.[1] In the matches he scored 185 runs with a high score of 43, while with the ball he took 13 wickets with best figures of 4/28.[2]
He married Elizabeth Kathleen Mildred Swann, the daughter of Sir Charles Swann on 16 September 1913.[3] He died at Brompton, London on 24 October 1934. His cousin Frank Druce played Test cricket for England, while another cousin Walter Druce and his uncle George Druce both played first-class cricket.
