The Embassy of Colombia in Ottawa is the diplomatic mission of the Republic of Colombia to Canada; it is headed by the Ambassador of Colombia to Canada. The Embassy is located in the 10th floor (suite 1002) of Tower 1 of the Constitution Square complex located at 360 Albert Street[1] at the intersection of Lyon Street North in the Downtown area of Ottawa, near Parliament Hill, the Supreme Court of Canada, and Place de Ville. The complex also houses the Embassy of Belgium, and the Embassy of Iceland in Ottawa.[2]
The Embassy is charged with representing the interests of the President and Government of Colombia, improving diplomatic relations between Colombia and the accredited countries, promoting and improving the image and standing of Colombia in the accredited nations, promoting the Culture of Colombia, encouraging and facilitating tourism to and from Colombia, and ensuring the safety of Colombians abroad.
