The British Overseas Territory of Gibraltar is a part of the European Parliament constituency combined region of South West England and Gibraltar. Elections will be held in Gibraltar on 23 May 2019 as part of the EU-wide elections.
Following the United Kingdom's vote to leave the European Union in the 23 June 2016 referendum, it is likely that the process of the United Kingdom's withdrawal from the EU will have taken place and the UK's MEPs no longer exist by 2019.[1]
