The Iran Men's National Volleyball Team is the national men's volleyball team of Iran. It is governed by the Islamic Republic of Iran Volleyball Federation (I.R.I.V.F.) and takes part in international volleyball competitions.
They are currently the strongest team in Asia. As of August 2016, Iran ranks 7th in the FIVB World Rankings. Iran has twice won the Asian Championship in 2011 Tehran and 2013 Dubai. Iran in World Championship foremost result 2014 Poland 5th Place. Iran made it to the Olympic Games for the first time in their history in 2016.[1][2] They finished at the 5th position in the competitions.
