KLAQ (95.5 FM), known as "The Q 95.5", is an active rock radio station based in El Paso, Texas. The station is under ownership of Townsquare Media.
KLAQ began operations in 1978, replacing El Paso's previous rock station, KPAS 94FM (93.9), which changed formats in late-1981. KPAS changed due to mismanagement.
KLAQ is the fifth largest radio station in El Paso audience wise, according to Arbitron Fall 2008 ratings. The station is generally known as a promoter and catalyst of the largest events and entertainment in El Paso. The station is home to Buzz Adams' morning show.
