KLXP (89.7 FM) is an K-Love affiliate station licensed to Randsburg, California and serving Ridgecrest, California City, and the Antelope Valley. KLXP is also simulcast on translator K236AW (95.1 FM) in Lancaster, California.
Originally KGBM, the station signed on at 89.7 FM in Redding, California with a Christian Music and Talk format under Grace Broadcasting in 1989. KGBM was acquired by the Educational Media Foundation in 2002 and became a part of the Air 1 network. Since Air 1 already had a signal in Redding at 90.1 FM, KGBM was relocated in December 2003 to its current location on El Paso Peak, which is located just south of Ridgecrest. The city of license was changed to Randsburg.
The station changed to its current KLXP call sign on July 8, 2016.
