Kvithammer or Kvithamar is a village in the Skatval area of the municipality of Stjørdal in Nord-Trøndelag county, Norway. It is located in the western part of the municipality, about 3 kilometres (1.9 mi) northwest of the municipal center of Stjørdalshalsen. The 0.14-square-kilometre (35-acre) village has a population (2013) of 216. The population density of the village is 1,543 inhabitants per square kilometre (4,000/sq mi).[1]

Kvithammar is mainly known for the Bioforsk Grassland and Landscape Division which is an agricultural research station in the area.[3] It is located on the Skatval peninsula, about 4 kilometres (2.5 mi) south of the Forbordsfjellet mountain.
