List of current automobile manufacturers by country
- For other automobile manufacturing related lists see See also
This is a list of current automobile manufacturers as of February 2015. The year of foundation is shown between parentheses, and countries' best-selling cars are shown in pictures on the right.[1] Please note that companies which exclusively produce cars designed by other manufacturers are not listed. Examples include Vauxhall, which sells rebranded Opels, and Scion, which sells Toyotas, but also car tuning companies like Abarth and Abt Sportsline, and companies that only build kit cars based on the Lotus Seven or the AC Cobra.
