Liverpool West Toxteth by-election, 1924

"The Liverpool West Toxteth by-election of 1924 was held on 22 May 1924. The by-election was held due to the resignation of the incumbent Conservative MP, Robert Paterson Houston. It was won by the Labour candidate Joseph Gibbins.^[1]
