Paul Raymond Fry (born July 26, 1992) is an American professional baseball pitcher in the Seattle Mariners organization.

Fry was drafted by the Seattle Mariners in the 17th round of the 2013 Major League Baseball Draft out of St. Clair County Community College.[1] He made his professional debut with the Arizona League Mariners. He pitched for the Clinton LumberKings in 2014 and Bakersfield Blaze and Jackson Generals in 2015.[2][3] After the 2015 season he played in the Arizona Fall League. He was invited to Spring Training by the Mariners in 2016. The Mariners added him to their 40-man roster after the season.[4]

Luiz Gohara

Luiz Henrique Gohara (born July 31, 1996) is a pitcher in the Seattle Mariners organization.

Gohara signed with the Mariners as an international free agent on August 14, 2012.[5][6] He was originally on Brazil's roster for the 2013 World Baseball Classic,[7] however he left the team before the competition started.[8] He made his professional debut that season for the Pulaski Mariners. In 2014 he pitched for the Arizona League Mariners and Everett AquaSox.[9]

Drew Jackson

Drew Hamilton Jackson (born July 28, 1993) is an American professional baseball shortstop for the Seattle Mariners organization.

Jackson attended Miramonte High School in Orinda, California. He then enrolled at Stanford University and played college baseball for the Stanford Cardinal.[10]

The Seattle Mariners selected Jackson in the fifth round of the 2015 Major League Baseball (MLB) draft.[11] He played for the Everett AquaSox of the Class A-Short Season Northwest League,[12][10] and was named the league's Most Valuable Player.[13] Jackson opened the 2016 season with the Bakersfield Blaze of the Class A-Advanced California League.[14]

His older brother, Brett, has played in MLB.[10]

Marcus Littlewood

Marcus Chase Littlewood (born March 18, 1992) is a professional baseball player currently in the Seattle Mariners organization.

Littlewood was drafted in the 2nd round of the 2010 Major League Baseball Draft by the Seattle Mariners.[15] He signed with the club for $900,000 on August 17, 2010.[16]

Tyler Marlette

Tyler Marlette (born January 23, 1993) is a professional baseball catcher in the Seattle Mariners organization.

Marlette was drafted by the Seattle Mariners in the fifth round of the 2011 Major League Baseball Draft out of Hagerty High School in Oviedo, Florida.[17] He was committed to play college baseball at the University of Central Florida, but was given a $650,000 bonus to sign with the Mariners.[18] He made his professional debut that season with the Pulaski Mariners, hitting .156 over 45 at-bats in 12 games. He spent most of the 2012 season with Pulaski and played two games with the Everett AquaSox.[19] He finished the year hitting .286/.306/.427 with five home runs over 213 at-bats. In 2013 he played for the Clinton LumberKings. He hit .304/.367/.448 with six home runs over 270 at-bats ion 75 games. Prior to the 2014 season he was ranked by MLB.com as the 10th best catching prospect in all of baseball.[20]

Andrew Moore

Andrew George Moore (born June 2, 1994) is an American professional baseball pitcher in the Seattle Mariners organization.

Moore attended North Eugene High School in Eugene, Oregon and played college baseball at Oregon State University for the Beavers. During his college career he was 27–9 with a 2.10 earned run average (ERA) and 251 strikeouts.[21]

Moore was drafted by the Seattle Mariners in the second round of the 2015 Major League Baseball Draft.[22] He made his professional debut with the Everett AquaSox.[23] He started 2016 with the Bakersfield Blaze and was promoted to the Jackson Generals during the season.[24]

Dario Pizzano

Dario Pizzano (born April 25, 1991) is a minor league baseball left fielder currently in the Seattle Mariners organization.

Prior to playing professionally, he attended Malden Catholic High School in Malden, Massachusetts and then Columbia University, where he earned first team All-Ivy League honors each year he played with the team.[25] At the time, he was one of only 21 players in the history of the game to be named to three All-Ivy League teams.[26] In 2010, he hit .374 with a .426 on-base percentage and a .741 slugging percentage in 46 games, hitting 12 home runs and driving 36 runs in. He was named Ivy League Co-Rookie of the Year and a Louisville Slugger Freshman All-American that season. In 2011, he hit .359/.433/.654 with 9 home runs and 36 RBI in 43 games and in 2012, he hit .360/.457/.547 with 4 home runs and 36 RBI. He was named Ivy League Player of the Year that year.[27]

He was drafted by the Seattle Mariners in the 15th round of the 2012 Major League Baseball Draft. With the Pulaski Mariners and Everett AquaSox that year, Pizzano hit .354/.442/.507 with 74 hits in 59 games, earning a spot on the Appalachian League Post-Season All-Star squad and the MiLB.com Organization All-Star team. He led the Appalachian League in batting average (.356) and on-base percentage (.442) that year. With the Clinton LumberKings in 2013, he hit .311/.392/.471 with 144 hits in 126 games and was named to the Midwest League Mid-Season All-Star team. He also hit 40 doubles, becoming the only minor leaguer since 2006 to hit 40 or more doubles and strikeout 50 or fewer times in a campaign of at least 120 games played.[28] He hit .244/.341/.404 with 100 hits in 116 games between the High Desert Mavericks and Jackson Generals in 2014.[29]

Max Povse

Max Walter Povse (born August 23, 1993) is an American professional baseball pitcher in the Seattle Mariners organization.

Povse was drafted by the Los Angeles Dodgers in the 42nd round of the 2011 Major League Baseball draft out of Green Hope High School in Cary, North Carolina. He did not sign with the Dodgers and attended University of North Carolina at Greensboro where he played college baseball for the UNC Greensboro Spartans.

After his junior year, Povse was drafted by the Atlanta Braves in the third round of the 2014 Major League Baseball draft.[30][31] He signed with the Braves and made his professional debut with the Danville Braves.[32] In an August start against the Burlington Royals, Povse did not allow a hit until the seventh inning, sending Danville to a 10–1 win.[33] Povse spent 2015 with the Rome Braves and Carolina Mudcats and started 2016 with Carolina.[34][35] He was later promoted to the Mississippi Braves. Povse finished 2016 with a 9-6 record and a 3.36 ERA.[36]

On November 28, 2016, Povse and Rob Whalen were traded to the Seattle Mariners organization in exchange for Alex Jackson and a player to be named later.[37]

Povse is a ground ball pitcher.[38][39]

Boog Powell

Herschel Mack Powell (born January 14, 1993) is an American professional baseball outfielder in the Seattle Mariners organization.

Powell was drafted by the Oakland Athletics in the 20th round of the 2012 Major League Baseball Draft out of Orange Coast College. He made his professional debut that season with the Arizona League Athletics. in 2013 he played for the Vermont Lake Monsters. Powell started 2014 with the Beloit Snappers. In June he was named the MVP of the Midwest League All-Star Game.[40][41] He was later promoted to the Stockton Ports.[42] In July, Powell was suspended 50 games after testing positive for an amphetamine.[43][44]

On January 10, 2015, the Athletics traded Powell, John Jaso, and Daniel Robertson to the Tampa Bay Rays for Ben Zobrist and Yunel Escobar.[45] He attended major league spring training in 2015. On November 5, 2015, the Rays traded Powell, Nate Karns, and C. J. Riefenhauser to the Seattle Mariners for Brad Miller, Logan Morrison, and Danny Farquhar.[46] The Mariners added him to their 40-man roster after the season.[47] On 23 June 2016, Powell accepted an 80-game suspension for a second positive test for banned substances.[48]

He is of no relation to former Baltimore Oriole and 1970 AL MVP Boog Powell.

Peter Tago

Peter Tago (born July 5, 1992) is an American professional baseball pitcher in the Seattle Mariners organization.

He was drafted by the Colorado Rockies in the first round (47th overall) of the 2010 Amateur Draft out of Dana Hills High School in Dana Point, CA.[49] Although he signed in 2010, Tago did not play his first professional game until May 20, 2011.[50]

Prior to the 2013 season, MLB named him the 17th best prospect in the Rockies system.

On December 11, 2014, he was selected in the Rule 5 Draft by the White Sox from the Rockies.

Tago signed a minor league contract with the Seattle Mariners in November 2016.[51]

Ryan Yarbrough

Ryan Christian Yarbrough (born December 31, 1991) is an American professional baseball pitcher in the Seattle Mariners organization.

Yarbrough played college baseball at Santa Fe Community College in 2011 before transferring to Old Dominion University. He pitched for Old Dominion in 2013 and 2014. He was drafted by the Milwaukee Brewers in the 20th round of the 2013 Major League Baseball Draft, but did not sign and returned to Old Dominion.[52] He was then drafted by the Seattle Mariners in the fourth round of the 2014 Draft and signed.[53]

Yarbrough made his professional debut with the Pulaski Mariners. After two games, he was promoted to the Everett AquaSox.[54] Overall he pitched in 14 games (10 starts) and had a 1.27 earned run average (ERA) with 58 strikeouts in 42 23 innings.
