Massiola is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Verbano-Cusio-Ossola in the Italian region Piedmont, located about 110 kilometres (68 mi) northeast of Turin and about 15 kilometres (9 mi) northwest of Verbania. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 169 and an area of 8.0 square kilometres (3.1 sq mi).[1]
