Ministry of Interior and Security (Somali: Wasaaradda Arrimaha Gudaha Soomaaliya) is the ministry that is responsible for interior affairs and security in Somalia.^[1] On 17 January 2014, newly appointed Prime Minister of Somalia, Abdiweli Sheikh Ahmed split the ministerial portfolio into Ministry of Interior and Federalism and Ministry of Security, respectively.^[2]
