Monster Hunter Stories: Ride On (Japanese: モンスターハンター ストーリーズ RIDE ON Hepburn: Monsutā Hantā Sutōrīzu RIDE ON) is a 2016 Japanese anime television series based on Capcom's Monster Hunter video game franchise.[1] The 48-episode series is produced by David Production,[2][3] directed by Mitsuru Hongo and written by Natsuko Takahashi, featuring character designs by Takuya Saito and music by Masaru Yokoyama. It began airing on Fuji TV on October 2, 2016.[4]
Plot
Lute is a young boy who wishes to become the world's greatest rider. Along with his friends, they go through many trials and training to become full-fledged riders. However, a great danger is looming close to them...

Broadcast
The series premiered on October 2, 2016 in Fuji TV's new daytime timeslot at 8:30am, that runs on Sundays in Japan.[4][10] It later premiered on UHB, OX, Tokai TV, KTV, OHK and TNC. The anime's theme song, titled "Panorama", is performed by Kanjani Eight.[11] The series has been licensed in North America by Funimation.[12] Crunchyroll is streaming a subtitled simulcast in some countries outside of Asia,[13] while Funimation is streaming an English simuldub.[14]
