Morningside is a small village in North Lanarkshire, Scotland. It is located around 1 kilometre (0.62 mi) south of Newmains, and 3.5 kilometres (2.2 mi) east of Wishaw. Morningside's population is 113. It is a former coal mining village, and formerly had two railway stations.[1]
Schools
Morningside Primary School is located on School Road, in the north of the village, and had a roll of 146 in session 2010/2011.[2]
