This is the eighth series of Spanish reality TV show Operación Triunfo. It was presented by Pilar Rubio
The first program was broadcast on 16 January 2011 and had a considerably shorter run than the earlier series due to poor ratings, airing its final on 20 February 2011. The series was won by Nahuel Sachak.
