Orani (Sardinian: Orane) is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Nuoro in the Italian region Sardinia, located about 110 kilometres (68 mi) north of Cagliari and about 15 kilometres (9 mi) southwest of Nuoro. As of 31 December 2004, Orani had a population of 3,113 and an area of 130.8 square kilometres (50.5 sq mi).[1]
