Parre is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Bergamo in the Italian region of Lombardy, located about 70 kilometres (43 mi) northeast of Milan and about 25 kilometres (16 mi) northeast of Bergamo. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 2,821 and an area of 22.5 square kilometres (8.7 sq mi).[1]
The municipality of Parre contains the frazioni (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) Ponte Selva, Sant' Alberto, and Martorasco.
Parre borders the following municipalities: Ardesio, Clusone, Piario, Ponte Nossa, Premolo, Villa d'Ogna.
