Pipariya is a town and a municipality in Hoshangabad district in the Indian state of Madhya Pradesh. It is famous as it is the railhead for the military station and tourist destination of Pachmarhi. Pipariya is on the Itarsi-Jabalpur rail line and is under the Jabalpur railway division.
Pipariya is also known for its Tuar Dal and have one of the largest Grain Market in the state Madhya Pradesh.
Primary schooling in Pipariya is also good . Missionary school St. JOSEPH'S SR. SEC. SCHOOL which is more than 25 years old is located here. Other popular schools include Beersheba ,Mahesh Convent ,Bright Career.Town Pipariya have well road connectivity as it is connected by SH19 ,SH21. Also in Railways it is on Itarsi - Allahabad link. Itarsi is nearest major railway junction.Pipariya is nearest Railway Station to Hill Town Pachmarhi .

The Pipariya city is divided into 21 wards for which elections are held every 5 years. The Pipariya Municipality has population of 48,826 of which 25,294 are males while 23,532 are females as per report released by Census India 2011.
