Point Clare is a suburb of the Central Coast region of New South Wales, Australia 4 kilometres (2 mi) south-west of Gosford's central business district on the western shore of Brisbane Water. It is part of the Central Coast Council local government area.

The suburb contains Point Clare railway station, which is on the Main North railway line, an Aldi supermarket, a pharmacy, a doctor's practice, a coffee shop, Chinese and Thai takeaway, and a veterinarian. In addition, there is a Scouts' and Guides' Hall at Fagans Park. TS Hawkesbury, an Australian Navy Cadet unit, is also located here.

Point Clare Public School is located on Takari Avenue.

Author Stephen Lacey grew up in Point Clare and it was the setting for his first two novels, The Tin Moon and Sandstone. Actor Don Hany also grew up in Point Clare.
